St. Goerge Vacation and More March Fun

It snowed on March 1st and Aleah finally got to build a snowman!  Aleah and Cade had so much fun playing together.  Even if it was just a little bit of snow!

Brad couldn't resist the new snow.  He took the day off of work and hit the slopes with my Dad.

Brad had to work in Las Vegas for a day so we packed up and headed to St. George for some nice warm weather and a little vacation!  We stayed with Brad's parents.  When Brad had to work he drove down to Las Vegas, worked for the day, and then drove back.  He was home by dinner.  It was great!

The kids and I went with Grandma and Grandpa to the park and helped them plant their flowers on their deck.  It was nice to work in the sun

We had a lot of fun feeding the ducks and geese.

Getting ready for St. Patrick's day with some shamrock pizzas!

One of Brad's goals was to help his parents get the Corvair uncovered so that we could move it up to our garage.  This is the car that Brad drove when he was in high school.  Brad's Grandpa, Granps Godfrey, picked up Brad's Dad from his mission in this car.  Brad and Cade are looking forward to fixing it up together!

After we got the car uncovered we headed to the pool!

These kids, including Brad, could play in the pool all day!

Cade was really excited because he figured out how to do front flips in the water just like Aleah.

I love that Aleah and Cade are the best of friends!

After our vacation Aleah and I got to go to her friend's birthday party together.  We got to see the movie Cinderelle.  It was such a fun afternoon together!  Brad and Cade went on date to Trafalga.  They had a fun time together too!

We planted a peach tree.  It was a bare root tree so we are hopeful that it will grow and do well!

We decided to get a pet fish.  We named him Shimmer.  We loved Shimmer.  Unfortunately, we only had him for about a month.  He got sick and died.  It was really sad and we miss him!

He was our first pet.  We had so much fun taking care of him and watching him swim around his bowl.

Cade is amazing on the P-bars.  He does such great swings.  He almost swings to a handstand when he does his dismounts.  He loves doing his class without a shirt.  It is the cool thing to do!

The last week of March Aleah got to be the star of the week at school.  We had fun making her poster.  She got to take a book to class for her teacher to read.  She also got to bring her favorite snack.
