Christmas is Always Magical!

Cade got to participated in the Candy Cane Classic.  He got a new team shirt to wear, only at his meets.  During warm ups he was next to his best friend Mason.

I didn't get many pictures because he is so fast that most of them turned out blurry.  I love watching his big swings on the parallel bars.

His strength amazes me!

 Cade had so much fun showing off everything he has been work on.  He is an amazing gymnast.

We could not wait to make our gingerbread houses.  It was one of the first things on our to do list for the Christmas season.

 It is fun to see all the creativity come out!

Next on the list was Grandma Great's Santa Party.  Aleah got to be Mary this year.  I loved the smile on her face.

Cade was an angel.  After is was over he said, "Mom, you know, there can be boy angels!"  He made a handsome angel.

They were both very cute with Santa.  Aleah asked for an Elsa doll.  Cade asked for Dusty the plane.

Just before Aleah got out of school for Christmas break she sang some songs for all the parents.  

She also sang the songs for all the kids in her school.

On the last day she got to wear her pajamas to school.  They had Polar Express day.  She loved it!

After all the begging and pleading, Brad and I decided to let Aleah and Cade share a room.  We moved Aleah's bed over to the room that Cade has been in.  They absolutely love sharing a room.  Brad and I love to hear their cute conversations at night and in the mornings.

Once Aleah was out of school it snowed!  Cade had a blast making snow angels.

And he made such a cute little snowman.  Too bad he didn't have his best friend Aleah to help him.

Aleah spent her first few days sick.  The poor girl missed all the snow!

Thankfully, she was better by Christmas Eve!

We loved every minute of Christmas!  The time that we spent together was the best present ever!

At the party at my parents' house the kids got to see if they could last one minute with the pirate punching bag.  I think it was the funniest part of the party!

Cade, of course, had to body slam the pirate!

We enjoyed all our lazy stay home in our pajamas days that followed Christmas!

We even got to have an art day with Aunt Amy.  She taught the kids how to make a dinosaur painting using egg shells for the scales.
