Happy Birthday Brad!

Happy birthday to my sweet husband Brad! I am so glad that I get to be part of his life here on this earth and I am looking forward to spending Eternity with him! He was born at home. He is number five of six kids. He is so much fun to be around. He is good at pretty much everything! He is very thoughtful and always thinking of others. He always goes the extra mile in whatever he is doing. He is so smart and funny! He is such a great husband and father! I could go on and on. Here are some random pictures of him.

What a GREAT guy he is! I love you Brad! Happy Birthday!

Back to back vacations!

We got to spend the last two weekends vacationing! I don't know what I'm going to do this week when Thursday rolls around and we are not heading out of town! The first vacation was with Brad's family up at a cabin at Sundance. Brad and I love Sundance! That is where we had our first date, that is where he proposed to me, that is where we go for our anniversary sometimes, we love the Tree Room, we love the Grill Room (especially for breakfast, they have the BEST french toast, if you like french toast then you have to try it!), we love being up there and enjoying the beauty of the mountains, and we like to watch the glass blowing.

We had a lot of fun relaxing at the cabin, of course that is always the best part of going to a cabin! We also went to Heber one night to get shakes at Granny's and listen to some music at the park. Aleah has so much fun with her cousins. Her cousin Nathan is so good at making her laugh. It is really cute! Katie takes such good care of her. It was like a true vacation for me because Katie would play with Aleah and she even fed Aleah her peas and bananas! Thanks Katie, you are such a great cousin!
Some of the family at the park in Heber.

Brad and Aleah got to go fishing with Aleah's cousin Nathan. He needs to catch two fish for his merit badge. Sad to say, he didn't catch any fish. So if anyone knows of a good place to catch fish, let me know!

Our second vacation was with my family down at the Brian Head cabin. My Grandma Stone got to came with us. This is the family down at the cabin.

Again, we had a lot of fun relaxing! We got to do some geocaching, baking of yummy pies (which is a tradition for our family vacations), and lots of visiting/laughing around the fire! The favorite saying of the vacation was, "BRUCE, don't go!"

This is Aleah with her Grandma Great. Aleah just started waving, it is so cute! Side story: Today when Brad got home from work he walked into the room and said, "Hi Aleah!". He didn't wave, he just said hi. She looked up and smiled and then waved at him. Oh, it was precious!

Here we are getting ready to do some geocaching. Emma loved talking on the walkie-talkie!
Our cute little family. It was beautiful, cold, and windy!

Pioneer Day

We had a lot of fun on the 24th of July. I started off my day with a good laugh. Aleah had just woken up from her nap and she was in her crib chatting. When I went in to get her this is what I found.
At first I was thinking, "What happened to her face!" Then I realized that it was her hand! I don't know why, but I thought that it was so funny! I was laughing and I ran and got the camera. She thought that I was pretty funny too!

The best part of the day was that Brad got to come home early from work. Yay! I love it when that happens. We had a pool party at my parents' house, which I'm thinking needs to become a tradition! It was Aleah's first time in the pool. She loved it. She splashed and splashed, kicked her legs, and loved to dunk her face in the water. After we put Aleah to bed we played some really fun water volleyball. We got to have yummy rootbeer floats and then we watched some fireworks.
