Water and more water!

On Saturday we took Aleah out on the boat for the first time! I can't believe that it's the middle of July and it was her first time on the boat. Crazy! She did so good. She seamed to be having a fun time. We were only able to keep the sunglasses on long enough for the picture. She is just to good with those little hands of hers!

My nephew Grant, Sis-in-law Stacey, and Bro Nate. I thought that Grant looked so cute in his little hat. I can't believe how grown-up he is getting!

This is number 1 of the two naps Aleah took on the boat. Doesn't she look comfy?

Lucky Brad got to wakeboard! The water was so smooth, it was really hard to resist!

Aleah was such a good sport in her life jacket. Only twelve more years baby, you can do it!

Aleah and I got to go to Thanksgiving Point with one of my friends and her little boy. We had such a great time! We walked around the garden and played in the water. Aleah is not so sure what she thinks about the water splashing on her head. Funny girl!

The Temple

We got to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. It was so wonderful! We were not able to go to the Draper Temple Open House because Aleah was so little and I was not very good at going to things that were at a certain time. Honestly, I was ALWAYS late to everything by a half an hour! Luckily, I am doing better now! It was fun to go to the temple as a family. Aleah loved it! I think that the lights and the water fountain were her favorites. I loved all of it! The feeling that I got when I walked into the Celestial Room was priceless. I love temples and I am thankful for the blessings that come from them.

My two favorite people! I think that they are so cute! Brad is really the best dad ever!

The 4th of July

We went to Brian Head to spend the 4th with Brad's family. We had so much fun, but when we got home I realized that we really did take very many pictures. Sad! It is something that I really need to work on! Friday was a wonderfully relaxing day. Which was just what I needed considering the last few cRaZy weeks! Aleah loved all the attention that she got from family. She seriously loves her cousins!

On the 4th we went down to Parawon for the parade and festivities at the park. Aleah really liked the parade until the end when the fire trucks came by. A little too loud for her liking and she let us know it! The Parawon parade is fun, they even throw out candy. Really, the candy is my favorite part! Then we went over to the park. They have races for the kids and little games for them to play. I can't wait until Aleah can run in the races. This year she just took a nap in her stroller. Of course, that evening we had a bbq and watched fireworks! I'm so thankful for this wonderful country that we live in! I am very thankful for our freedom and all the men and women who protect us! What a great holiday.
This is not a 4th of July picture, but I had to put it in because I think that it is so funny. Aleah loves to fake cough. She will fake cough and then she will giggle because I guess she thinks that it is funny too! Oh how I love this funny fake coughing little girl!
