We have been doing some projects around the house this week, as well as getting ready for Halloween! We are all very excited for Halloween. Aleah would be happy if we got new Halloween decorations every day. We just don't have enough Halloween decoration for her. This year I got out the decorations and let the kids decide where to put everything. I was amazed by their decorative talent! They put a pumpkin on each side of the piano, little pumpkins on the sides of a decoration on the end table... When they were done it looked really good and I didn't even want to move anything!
Aleah and Cade have been changing their minds constantly about what they want to be for Halloween this year. Once I got them to settle, they had to try on their costumes! I love watching Cade run around pushing the button on his arm to make the laser turn on!
Our projects around the house have been, cleaning out the garage, emptying boxes in the basement, organizing everything in the basement, and etching our windows by our front door. The windows look great. We love that the light can come in, but now we have some privacy!
I decided to hang some pictures. Yes, I finally put some holes in my walls! But, I was not happy about the gouge I made in the floor board when I dropped Cade's picture as I was about to hang it on the wall. I cried! When I told Brad what happened he said that he could fix it, "With a little duct tape and super glue." Haha!
Aleah and Cade found some umbrellas at the store and they said, "I would love it so much Mom!" Lucky for them, they were on clearance. True to their word, they have been loving their umbrellas.
They had fun dancing and singing in the rain storm with their umbrellas Sunday evening.
We have been trying to go to the park as much as we can before it gets too cold. I am always amazed by the creative games that they come up with to play. This time they were playing a troll game, it was cute!
Aleah got moved up to the girls team class level 1 at gymnastics. She is so excited! She has homework every night and she loves doing it. She reminds me all the time that we have to remember to do her homework. We have been doing the homework as a family and stretching together afterward, which has been a lot of fun!
I don't know if you can find Aleah in that crazy mess of kids. I think that there was about 8 classes all stretching together. She is in the middle on the right side wearing an orange and pink suit with black leggings. She said, "It was kind of scary, but then I did good." Which I can imagine it was scary for her. She is use to stretching with just her class of about 7 girls. This was a big jump for her! I was impressed by how she jumped right in and followed along.
She did a wonderful job for her first time in this class. She looks like she is the youngest in the class. After class her teacher said that she was amazed by how quickly Aleah caught on to the things that they were doing and how quickly she learned the new skills. Aleah has always been a fast learner and she is very coordinated!
She was practicing cartwheel handstand dismounts on beam.

When Cade spills something or drops something he says, "Oops! That ok!"
Cade was tapping his spoon on the table at breakfast. I asked him not to do that because it could make dents in the table which wouldn't be good. To which he said, "Then the table would have to go to the dentist!" I laughed for a while about that one.
It makes me laugh every time Aleah and Cade talk about what they want to be when they grow up! Cade says, "I'm going to be a race car!" Then Aleah says, "Oh fun. What color?" Aleah says, "Im going to be a Mama."
One day I was saying how much I love that my Dad is a chiropractor. Then I said, "Cade, maybe you could be a chiropractor when you grow up." Aleah quickly said, "No, he is going to be a race car!"
