Valentine's Day Vacation and Aleah's Meet

We did a fun thing this year for Valentine's Day.  We each had a Valentine's box at our place on the table.  Every day we would write a little note to each other.  It was such a fun way to feel loved each day.  I loved all the sweet notes everyone wrote to each other!

Aleah made her own Valentine's bag at school and had a fun party.  After Aleah got home from school we went to gymnastics and then headed to the cabin for a Valentine's get away!

I love my awesome skiers!

Aleah and Cade quickly remembered how to ski and had so much fun on the magic carpet slopes.

One section was set up to teach them how to turn.  They caught on quickly and were pros at turning by the end.

Aleah could have skied all day.  When Cade was tired of skiing he had fun throwing snowballs at me.

Brad and the kids made a cute snowman while I was making dinner.

Brad and I had an awesome Valentine's date snowboarding!  I love being on the slopes with Brad.  I love my sweet Valentine!  Brad is the best husband.  I love every minute that I get to spend with him!

These two sweet Valentines made a special treat with Grandma while we were snowboarding.  It was a surprise and they were so excited to show us after dinner.

What a special time it was celebrating the love that we have for each other!  Words can not express how thankful we are to have Aleah and Cade in our family.

Aleah had another gymnastics meet.  She really wanted to make her mill circle on the bars and get a blue ribbon.  She worked hard every day practicing her mill circle.  She made a few by herself a few days before the meet.  On the day of the meet she said, "I know I'm going to make my mill circle in my routine! I know it!"  I was so hopeful that she would make it since she was so determined.

She did a beautiful bar routine!

Everyone cheered really loud when she made her mill circle!

Aleah's beam routine is always amazing!

Aleah has so much fun doing her flour routine.

Aleah always has the biggest smile on her face when she does vault!  She is an amazing vaulter!

Since Aleah accomplished her goal of making her mill circle and getting a blue ribbon on bars, we celebrated by going to hang time!

Family Fun and Registering Cade for Kindergarten!

We tried out a trampoline place in Orem called Hang Time.  We loved it!  I wish it didn't cost so much because I would love to go there a couple of times a week to flip and twist to my hearts content!  Flipping, twisting, jumping, climbing, sliding, and bouncing around for two hours was awesome!

Brad and the kids look forward to going to the train show at Thanksgiving Point each year.  They always come home with fun stories to share with me.

Cade loves rock climbing and he can get to the top!  We tried out laser tag at Trafalga and had so much fun.  Aleah and Cade can have fun doing pretty much anything now days.  Brad and I are loving our family dates.  It is so much fun to be able to do so many things as a family!

Aleah continues to love Kindergarten!  Why wouldn't she with all the fun things she gets to do and with all the fun friends she has in her class?

She had to make a poster with 100 things on it for the 100th day of school.  We had a lot of ideas of what to put on the poster.  When it came time to make the poster, the winning idea was chocolate chips!

The 100th day of school was one of her favorite days of school!

Aleah gets to go to a lot of birthday parties because she is friends with everyone in her class.  I love that she makes personalized cards to go on their gifts.  The picture on this card is of her and Colbey playing soccer together.  As she explained this card to me she said, "See how I'm bigger than Colbey? That's because my birthday is before his birthday.  So I'm bigger than him."  I love it!  Even though he is actually taller than she is, she is in fact older than him.

Aleah and Cade got to take pictures with their gymnastics team class.  They were expensive to buy so I opted for the take a picture of the picture on the wall option.  Not the best quality, but definitely the best price!

How can Cade be old enough to register for Kindergarten?  I'm not ready for this, but he sure is!  He wanted to start Kindergarten with Aleah.  It was very hard for him to wait since he feels like he can do anything that she can do.  And he thinks that they are twins.  We were out to ice cream and a family came in with twin babies.  Cade said to us, "Look, they have twins just like me and Aleah!"  Aleah responded with, "Umm, I'm a little bit bigger than you Cade."  I just laughed.  It's too cute!

We had fun getting Cade all signed up for Kindergarten!  As we were leaving we saw Aleah walking back to her class from the library.  It was awesome to see her and give her a hug!  Aleah and Cade talk about how they hope that they will get to see each other at school sometimes next year.

My sister and her baby were in the hospital for awhile because her baby DeLayna had RSV.  It wasn't fun for them.  But, we got to have her other three kids spend some time with us.  We loved it!  We played at parks and played with kinetic sand and we played and played some more.  And we laughed, a lot, because Lacey is hilarious!
