Let's go swimming, let's go swimming!

New swimming suits and new goggles means that Aleah and Cade are ready for their swimming lessons!

Smiles from Cade at his swimming lesson are always a good thing!

They have had three lessons and two practice sessions at the Lehi Legacy Center with Mom and Dad.  They both love going down the big slide at the Legacy Center.  At swimming lessons Aleah can back float all by herself now, she can kick in her back float to the edge of the pool and grab the edge, flip over and climb out.  She can jump in, come up and go right to her back float.  She is getting better at kicking with the kick board, blowing bubbles and then turning her head to the side to get air.  She just started learning how to dive into the pool!  After her teacher helps her dive she goes right to her back float and kicks to the edge and climbs out all by herself!

Cade hates the feeling of water in his ears.  Baths have always been a challenge with him and he has never been too fond of the water.  It has been great to see him start to have fun at the swimming pool!  He hates the back float because his ears are in the water, but he is starting to do it now.  He can jump in all by himself and he goes under the water a lot now.  I'm so happy to see him become comfortable in the water!

We finally hung our coat hooks in our mud room.  It is so nice to have a place to quickly hang our jackets or coats.

On the warm days we have been enjoying the park that is near our house.  It has super big slides that the kids love!

We got to go visit my Grandma Stone the other day.  It is always nice to visit with her.  As we were leaving Aleah and Cade wanted to climb the tree.  It was fun to see them climbing the tree that I climbed when I was little.  Cade climbed a little higher than I was comfortable with.  He is no fear!

Brad and I got to go on a date!  Hurray for date night and wonderful babysitters who live right by us!  We went to Harvest at Thanksgiving Point.  We had a gift card from when we bought our home.  It's always nice to eat and visit without interruptions!  We planned some fun vacations that we want to go on one of these days.

After dinner we went to the adult session of our stake conference.  It was great, as always!  Then we got to go out for dessert with a bunch of friends from our ward.  It was fun to get to know them a little better.  We are truly amazed by the people in our ward.  They are ALL so nice and always serving each other.  We have been blessed by their service, love, kindness, and testimonies!
