Tuesday morning we woke up to snow on the ground.
It melted quickly and didn't stop the progress on our yard. They started our block wall!
Then we heard a big truck, looked out our window, and saw a dump truck dumping top soil. I think we got eight loads of top soil.
Every time we heard the truck we would run to the window and watch. The truck driver made Cade's day when he waved at him.
I think this was three loads of dirt.
Once they got the first row leveled the wall went up fast.
Then we got word that the cement truck was on it way. So they got ready to pour the cement for our patio.
The next thing we knew there was a huge cement truck in our back yard!
It was so exciting, and loud!
I still can't believe that the cement truck fit in our back yard. I'm so glad that the driver didn't run over our trampoline! After he backed up Cade started jumping up and down saying, "He didn't run over our trampoline!"
Aleah and Cade were very curious as to why he was walking in the cement!
Tuesday was a very fun and exciting day! We loved watching all the progress. By the end of Wednesday all the trenches were buried and a lot of the dirt was spread around.
They finished things up on Thursday. One week and they were done. We love it! It looks so good. Now we have to wait until next month for grass because American Fork city doesn't turn on the water until April 15th. We can't wait for the grass!
We love the block wall! It goes so well with our house. It really looks great.
Thursday night my brother Nate and my Dad came over to help Brad get the swing set in the ground. It got dark fast, but they did a great job.
Friday night was the really fun part! We got the trampoline all set up. Aleah and Cade figured out what to do with the springs right off and went to work.
Testing out our work was awesome!
