Brad started out our Thanksgiving week by returning to his High School to speak at Career Day. He had a fun time. He said that it was a funny experience. When he asked if there were any questions they all just sat there and then when he asked if any one wanted a highlighter they all shouted "I do! I do"
Wednesday we headed over to my parents' house to get a head start on all the cooking. We had a picnic movie night and a sleepover.
Thanksgiving was such a wonderful day! The kids made name tags for everyone for their first craft. They were very creative and made each one unique.
After Brad and Nate got home from their turkey bowl football game they took the kids out to play some football. They all had a lot of fun. It was a beautiful beautiful day!
We were blessed to spend our Thanksgiving with many wonderful people! We had twenty-two people at our table. All of my family plus my Aunt Sandra and Uncle Rolan, my cousin Lance and his wife Megan, my Grandma Stone, my Dad's good friend Scott and his daughter Kassidy. It was a wonderful meal and a blessing to be surrounded by so many loved ones.
After dinner we played outside, relaxed, and made cute turkeys out of fuzzy sticks.
We had another sleepover that night. It's always fun to have some adult time after the kids are in bed.
The next day we all headed over to the theatre to watch Frozen. We loved it, it was such a cute movie!
Honestly, I don't enjoy the cooking part of this holiday, But, it was fun to visit with my Mom while we cooked. My favorite part of the holiday is having Brad around. I love it when he doesn't have to work!
